Entries must be completed on the Entries system. Entries will close on Monday 16th May (4th Week) at midday.
The scratch deadline will be Thursday of 4th Week (19th May) at 08:00am. Scratches after this time will be treated as withdrawals as per rule A3.7.
Substitutions maybe made on the Entries system until 10am on each day of racing. After this time substitutions must be made at Race Desk.
Entry Fees for Eights 2022 are £50 per eight.

OURCs is running briefings ahead of the event which all marshals and umpires are required to attend. At the event itself, a summary of this briefing will be repeated but there is not enough time for complete training on the day. The times for the mandatory advance briefings are:

Umpires are also strongly encouraged to read the Bank Riding briefing slides (below).
Bankriders of racing crews must have been briefed within the last 18 months about their legal responsibilities when participating in the event. Briefed bankriders should come to racedesk to sign out a bib before following their crew and then return the bib to racedesk when finished.
On-the-day briefings will occur at racedesk at 11:45am each day Wed-Fri. Bankriders who cannot make the scheduled briefing should come to racedesk 20 minutes earlier than normal to be briefed on the spot.

All bank riders must have been to a bank rider briefing in the previous 18 months. Having taken the bankrider e-learning for Summer Torpids 2021 last year is considered equivalent to attending a briefing. If in doubt, please contact the race secretary.
