The following restrictions have been decreed by the Procters (2.6.15):
No member of a member club may row before 1 hour before sunrise and or after 1 hour after sunset (2.1.1.a-b).
No crews are allowed on the water between 8.30am- 1pm, weekdays of 1st-8th week, inclusive.
The exceptions to this are:
a. The College Boat Clubs of: Green Templeton, Linacre, St Antony's, Wolfson
b. Single Sculls
c. They have sought and obtained permission from the Procters.
No crew may be on the water between 8am and 1pm on Sundays (2.8.1.a)
No crew may be on the water after 7pm on Wednesdays (2.8.1.b)
These are out of courtesy to other river users.
(Defined as from Thursday 0th Week to the final day of the Term's major regatta (Christchurch Regatta, Torpids, or Summer Eights)
Michaelmas and Hilary:
Before 8.00am College Boat Clubs can only have one crew on the water at any one time, except with the written permission of the OURCs Secretary or having been granted an Extra Slot. (2.8.2.a)
Before 8.00am College Boat Clubs can have no more than two 4s or 8s on the water at any one time, except with the written permission of the OURCs Secretary. (2.8.2.a)
Between 5.00pm and 7.00pm, during Peak Term in Trinity, only athletes fulfilling the following conditions may be on the water (2.8.2.d):
College Boat Clubs can only have two crews on the water at any one time before 8am (2.8.2.b)
College Boat Clubs can only have one crew on the water at any one time between 1pm and 7pm or Closing Time (whichever is earlier)(2.8.2.b) ( This does not apply to single sculls).
In addition to the rules above, no Member Club may row between the following times (out of courtesy to the Medley sailing club):
