Capsize Drill Quiz

Before your capsize drill you are required to complete the following three trainings on the British Rowing Website:

• BR Safety Basics

• BR Cold Water and Hypothermia

• BR Capsize Drill

Once completed, please take the following quiz: TBD.

You must complete and pass the quiz at least six hours before the beginning of the drills.

Once you have completed the quiz and drill you will be permitted to go out in small boats. As boats without coxswains, we highly recommend athletes read the document: Hints and Tips for Steerspeople (Isis) before their first outing. Being in a small boat requires a much higher level of attention and seriousness than you may have previously experienced. Please take care and ensure that you have an experienced bankrider in your first few outings.
