For races at the beginning of the year please recruit seniors with knowledge of circulation and racing rules.
Recruit marshals early and ensure they understand the importance of their position.
For Torpids and Summer Eights there are special marshaling briefings, in addition to umpires required.
External races are generally run by British Rowing -- many clubs send boats to the following popular races to gain racing experience and see new rivers outside the Isis.
